The best supported theory of our Universe’s origin centers on an event known as the big bang,This theory was born of the observation that other galaxies are moving away form our own at great speed in all directions,as if they had all been propelled by an ancient explosive force.Through exploration, they have discovered new continents,found cure to diseases,advanced in technology,communication and much more.Studying the origins of the universe and exploring it helps us build our civilization.

The sun and the planets formed from the contraction of part of a gas/dust cloud under its own gravitational pull and that the small net rotation of a cloud created a disk around the central condensation,the energy form the young Sun blew away the reamining gas and dust,leaving the Solar System as we see today.Also the light from other planets in the solar system is also reflected light from the sun.
